Iris Van Herpen x Dutch National Ballet: Biomimicry

Iris Van Herpen is a Dutch fashion designer that has become known for her fusion of technology and haute couture in her futuristic designs. I love her work, and her project with the Dutch National Ballet made me think of our discussion in class during the antonymic exchange. The short film does an interesting job at using fashion, dance, music, and film to convey the “essential/primordial connection between all living things.”
